This webinar will provide an overview of the current state of play regarding the Insurance Distribution Directive, that became law in the UK in 2018, and ushered in a new regime regarding insurance that was more granular in its approach to choosing a relevant insurance solution to offer to clients, in those instances where we can do so within the FSMA regime.

Pure protection insurance contracts can still be recommended, but only where detailed analysis both of the client’s needs, and of the products’ ability to satisfy them, has been carried out.
