Course Outline
Introduction
The care cap is due to come into effect in England in October 2023 and will limit the amount an adult will have to pay for their care during their lifetime.
Local councils will need to arrange hundreds of thousands of needs assessments in readiness.
Advisers will need to be prepared so that clients get a robust assessment which accurately reflects their needs and the sum which meters towards the cap is accurate.
This webinar is suitable for professionals who advise clients with disabilities or their family, attorney, or deputy who currently or are likely to fund their own care entirely, or with some financial support from their local council.
What You Will Learn
This webinar will cover the following:
- What is the care cap?
- What is included in the cap?
