Introduction
There are a number of factors driving employers to consider providing fully electric vehicles to their employees.
While climate change concerns and favourable tax consequences might spark initial interest for employers, recent big reductions in the benefit in kind tax costs, combined with increases in both the number of models and the range that these vehicles can travel, mean that they are also starting to look more appealing to employees.
This short webinar will look at the tax issues for both employer and employee when the employer provides their employee with a fully electric car.
Please note that the webinar will not cover vehicle excise duty or the ‘plug-in grants’ which can reduce the upfront cost of electric vehicles.
