Course Outline
Introduction
The Social Housing White Paper was published in November 2020 and sets out a charter for social housing residents which aims to deliver the improvement and transparency promised in the 2018 Green Paper.
The paper can be summarised as creating 7 commitments to residents, the majority of which will be secured by legislation at a later date. The paper represents a number of changes which were required in the sector to deal with issues of health and safety of buildings, the standards of social housing, regulation in respect of social landlords and the relationship between landlords and residents.
This webinar will look at each of the 7 commitments, highlighting the implications for social landlords, key themes, and expected outcomes along with updates as to any changes already implemented.
