Introduction
Individuals may be deprived of their citizenship under section 40 of the British Nationality Act 1981 on grounds of fraud, false representation or concealment of material fact or on grounds of conduciveness to the public good.
Aimed at experienced immigration practitioners, this virtual classroom seminar will look in detail at the SSHD’s power to deprive someone of their British citizenship.
Consideration will be given to recent case law and guidance in this area and delegates will receive practical guidance on how to build a successful appeal against deprivation of citizenship.
