ATOL Regulations changed when the Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 came into effect on 1st July 2018. Brexit changed ATOL Regulations on 31 December 2020 when the UK left the European Economic Area. Covid changed the CAA’s outlook on risk management and how they assess risk for ATOL renewals. Travel restrictions battered the financial wellbeing of tour operators and thousands of people employed in the industry were made redundant. New staff need ATOL training.

This course will explain the complex regulations for sales that are not ATOL protected.
